DoorBot Is a Doorbell That Gives You Instant Peak on Your Front Door

I don’t know about you but unless I know that it’s a pizza guy, I get upset quite often when someone is pushing my doorbell. I’m not trying to be mean or unfriendly but seriously, having to move from your comfy sofa and pausing your game just to check out who’s standing on your front door is annoying. If you feel the same as me, DoorBot might eventually solve this out.

Featuring an integrated camera, DoorBot lets you stream live video, showing you who’s just pushed the bell right on your smartphone and tablet. Using your house Wi-Fi, you’ll be alerted by the respective app whenever you have some unsuspected guests. From there, you can talk to the guests and decide whether you want to open the door or ask them to leave politely.

Speaking of opening the door, you don’t even have to leave your throne and stopping the game, video, or anything you enjoy watching in the living room. DoorBot app is compatible with Lockitron, so you can lock and unlock the door right from where your bottom is anchored. This is definitely the stuff you need in tis mobile age! Check out the introductory video below!

The only thing DoorBot falls short is the fact that it has no anti-theft feature or anything that prevent the neighboring kids to detach it from your door. Other than that, it’s a fine piece of work. At the time I’m writing this article, the team only needs $200,000 more to reach the funding goal and you can join the fun by pledging $169. Not cheap, indeed, but totally worth it!
