Dyson Airblade Tap Hand DryerBlows All the Drips Off

Have you noticed that by having a water tap and a hand dryer as two standalone systems, you’re actually making mess in your bathroom? Think about it, you always wash your hands after doing your business in the bathroom and walk away with wet hands to the hand dryer to get them dry. The drips you leave on the floor might not make it dangerously slippery but it’s still a mess ad you’re helping bacteria to thrive.

Dyson Airblade Tap

Dyson aims to solve this by making a new type of hand dryer that becomes one with the water tap. They call it Airblade. What’s with the blade? I’m not sure about it but if you expose your hands to the air blown at 420mph by the integrated machine of the hand dryer for too long time, you might get them sliced. God news is, this thing can make them dry in only 14 seconds; wicked! Anyway, despite being small, the machine consumes 1400 watt of energy to run making it appropriate for the title of “little beast”.

The video below will walk you over the technology incorporated in Dyson’s new Airblade Tap Hand Dryer.

Since the air is blown away at extremely high speed, the machine does not need to heat it. Instead it’s only run through HEPA filter to remove the bacteria. There are up to six Helmholtz silencers aimed to keep the noise down to minimum. By the way, it doesn’t have any turn knob to trigger the water to comes out. All you need is to put your hands under the tap and warm water will flow down. If you think it’ll be a great addition to your bathroom, you can make your purchase as of today.
