Last month, Eton officially launched its brand new Boost Line that features ultra-powerful solutions for your emergency charging. While there are numerous third party companies that offer secondary battery for smartphone in the form of cases, Eton makes its Boost Line into blocky charger. In fact, the Boost Turbine Series are kind of weird with ridiculous little crank on its side.

The idea is to provide a backup for your backup battery. In extreme cases, you might wind up having both your device battery and secondary battery all worn out. If you’ve got one of the stuff included in the new Eton Boost Line, you’ll be just fine.

There are two primary models – the BoostTurbine and BoostBloc – each of which is further differentiated in regards of its capacity. The BoostBloc Series have three variants each of which offers a handy 2000mAh battery, 4000mAh battery, and 6600mAh battery. The cheapest one costs $39 whereas the most expensive one runs you $99. The BoostBloc6600 has two USB ports, so you can connect it with two devices simultaneously.

As for the Boost Turbine Series, there are only two variants: one with 1000mAh battery and one with 2000mAh battery. All of them come with funny looking crank on one side that acts as emergency generators. According to Eton, turning the turbine around for three minutes can provide you with enough power to have a quick phone call or several text messages. You can get the BoostTurbine1000 for $50, though for an additional $10, you can get its bigger sibling. Any takers?
