Hot coffee is so usual. These days, people always go for the unusual. To please such people, Nestle Japan together with the local toy giant, Takara Tomy, has officially launched Frozen Coffee Maker. The product is also made to anticipate the stinging hot summer in Japan which is just a couple of months away. Anyone fancy a coffee float?

“I can make my own cup of iced coffee, so why do I need it?” You’ve got a point, there but why you have to go through the traditional way if Japanese technology can do it for you? Besides, the company claims that the taste and texture of the iced coffee it makes is nothing like you’ve ever drunk. Of course, by that, the company means that it’s going to be seriously tasty and sweet.

Using the machine is pretty straightforward. All you need is to provide it with sugar, milk and a variant of Nescafe Ekusera. Speaking of the latter, there are up to six variants you can choose to suit your taste. Bored with coffee float? Switch to green tea float. Again, you don’t need to do the hard work here as one variant of Ekusera come in green tea flavor.

Sold already? You’d better move fast next month as Nestle Japan only plans to produce 10,000 units of this Frozen Coffee Maker. The product’s official webpage doesn’t disclose any pricing info, so you will probably have to compete in the local auction site to grab it. Don’t be so sad if you fail, though, because R2-D2 in this Star Wars Coffee Machine looks pretty neat.
