So, how it differs from a microSD card? Simple! Rather than inserting it to your iPhone or iPad, all you need to do is plugging it into the 30-pin or Lightning port of your iOS devices. When you’re done, you can easily snap it off and hook it up to your PC or Mac for a quick back up or synchronization. This is all can be done thanks to the USB and 30-pin connector equipped to either end of the i-FlashDrive HD. That said, if you’re going to use it for your iPhone 5 or iPad 4, you’re going to need a Lightning port adapter. Check out the demo video below!

According to the developer, transfer rate varies depending on what device you use it with. For USB-enabled device, it can go all the way up to 10MB/s. For your iOS devices with 30-pin connector, however, transfer rate can run as low as 1.5MB/s to 2.5MB/s. Compatible with iOS 6, OS X, and multiple Windows OSs, the i-FlashDrive HD is offered in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, and 64GBmodels. Thus, its price tag can go from as cheap as $99 to a cool $329. It might not be appealing for lightweight users but for those who are always hungry for empty space, it shapes a quite nice deal.
