LG Anti-Mosquito Air Conditioning Released in African Market (Video)
Urged by the will to help people fight against malaria, LG finally released the Anti-Mosquito air conditioning. The product is exclusively made available in African market given that this is where the number of malaria cases is reported to be the highest. Needless to say, it’s got a few special things under the hood that separate it from the existing crowds.
First, it’s got the ultrasonic wave technology which LG claims to be extremely effective at keeping mosquitoes away from your dwelling. It’s activated with an easy push of a button. Once activated, the machine will produce ultrasonic sound running on the frequency of 30 kHz to 100 kHz. Thus, our normal hearing cannot sense it.
During the test held in collaboration with World Health Organization (WHO), LG Anti-Mosquito air conditioning was reported to wipe out up to 64% of female Anopheles which contribute the most to the prevalence of the endemic. Such a record was done within only 24 hours. Check out the promo video below! The kid can’t even tell what mosquitoes are actually simply because they never show up in his house powered with LG Anti-Mosquito air conditioning.
Furthermore, the air conditioner also features LG’s own Tropical Compressor, a device built into the unit to better cool down the rooms. Also, a feature called Super AVS is onboard. For your information, this is a mechanism that can automatically adapt the unit to the frequent changes in electricity supplies. This will help prolong the life span of the compressor. There is no telling about the price at the moment, so we guess LG will come up again very soon to resolve this matter.
