Puzzlebox Orbit Flies with Your Mind

Who doesn’t know Professor X, the baldy genius organizing the world’s biggest organization for mutants in X-Men? He’s so smart he can control everything using the power of his mind. Still, we’re not going to talk about a device that will grant you the same power. Rather, we’ve got a very cool toy that can make you understand how awesome it is to be Professor X.

Puzzlebox Orbit: Brain-Controlled Helicopter

Dubbed as Puzzlebox Orbit, this toy helicopter flies with command you make on your brain. That’s right! It’s got no old controller, ugly transmitter, or sort of stuff; only awesomeness and advanced technology. Previously, it was featured at Kickstarter to help the developing company with the fund for mass production. Given that the funding goal has been reached already, you can expect it appear on the market very soon. Watch Steve, the Puzzlebox CTO, explains his tuff briefly in the video below!

In a glance, Puzzlebox Orbit looks identical with Kyosho Space Ball with its protective dark sphere. Unsurprisingly, it also has the same toughness and durability as Japan-inspired RC helicopter. As mentioned earlier, it has no controller or whatsoever. Instead, it comes with a pyramid-shaped device which acts as an infrared converter along with NeuroSky MindWave Mobile EEG headset.

The way it works is that you have to set your brain to particular mental state initially. The headset will then tell the pyramid base about a current activity in your brain. If it is strong enough, the pyramid base will convert it to an infrared signal which will eventually lead the Puzzlebox Orbit to the air. Sure, it’s not easy to begin with but it’s incredibly awesome. If you’re interested, you’d better hasten down to Kickstarter now because it’s currently priced $149!
