Q-FOG Keeps You Cool on Long Hot Summer Rides
Summer is coming and before you know it, the sun has already rested steadily right above your head, scorching your brain. But don’t let it stop you from doing your routine, covering a few miles in the afternoon with your bicycle. There is always a workaround for a problem and in this case, you may find Q-FOG interesting. In a nutshell, it’s a personal cooling spray that is designed to be mounted on your bike’s handlebar.
Dubbed as the first personal spray for cyclists, Q-FOG appears to be a simple device with its own water reservoir, nozzle and trigger. The latter looks almost exactly like gear shifter in common bike, only this one will spray you with pressurized water. With the reservoir volume measuring in at 100ml, the maker claims that the water won’t run out unless you have used it for over 300 times. Those are worth around two to three hours of bike riding. Check it out in action in the video below!
Overall, the idea looks pretty much of a novelty until you realize that 10ml-water reservoir is considerably huge to be mounted on your handle bar. Still, Q-FOG will probably make a good offering for hardcore cyclists who don’t like to stop just to cool down. All they have to do is simply pull the trigger and a fine mist will be sprayed all over your body, giving that nice cool effect.
