Greetings fellow neat freaks! If you’ve been wondering what cool instrument you can use to funnel your musical talent, you might want to consider Roland TD 4KP V-Drums Portable. Now that the stuff is official, you can pay a visit to your local music store and see if it suits your taste. Sure, Roland does not mean it for hardcore drummers like Mike Portnoy (it’ll break in a few seconds certainly). But as far as we concern, the minimalist drum set functions quite well.

The 27.5 pounds drum set comprises of several pads each of which represents different drum. It looks just like common digital drum when standing but as the name says, this thing can be folded to make it portable. The folded dimensions are 11.8” x 19.6” x 27.5” which still look quite handful, especially if you’re a skinny artist. However, it should be easier for adults to carry with just one arm as opposed to typical stuff. Check it out in action in the video below!

The Roland TD 4KP V-Drums Portable comes with an optional carrying case. Sure, you can still carry it with ease sans the special case but it will appear much more attractive with it. Not to say that the case also offers detachable compartment for the hi-hat, sticks and beaters as well as kick pedals.

According to Roland, its benefit is not only about its portable nature but also its quick-to-set-up sound features. The factory setup has comprehensively covered most common sounds in percussions set. But if you want to go a little wild with your artist’s instinct, you can customize it easily, thanks to the advanced sound module. How do you like it resides in your room?
