The AspireAssist Aspiration Therapy System Sucks Food Out Of Your Belly in an Instant
Not all people with obesity are willing to go on a very strict diet, exercise to an extreme point, or submit themselves under the knife just to lose their weights. Some overweight people seem fine with their condition. However, in Dean Kamen’s opinion, it’s completely the contrary. According to him, obesity can prompt everyone to do just everything, including the foulest one like pumping out the content of your stomach.
The invention is called the AspireAssist Aspiration Therapy System. If you’ve ever known a feeding tube used by people who are too sick to take in food, it works simply the other way around. Firstly, a tube has to be inserted on the users’ stomach. After that, a real hole on the stomach has to be made in order to get a portion of the tube threaded out. The hole will be covered with a special valve called Skin Port, so patients won’t be going around with an open hole on their stomach when not pumping. Check out the video below!
Done with initial setup, the first thing to do when patients feel like pumping out their belly is filling the water reservoir and clip it together with the handy pump. Then, the pump is attached to the Skin Port valve and pumping will begin right away. According to Kamen, this could reduce your stomach content by 30%. Furthermore, he’d suggest that pumping is the best carried out twenty minutes after you have meal. This is due to the fact that by keeping the food in your digesting system for twenty minutes is enough to convince your mind that you’re full.
The AspireAssist Aspiration Therapy System has been available in Europe since 2011 but it has to acquire an approval from FCC to prevail stateside. Are up for this?
